Veron is back and looking as beautiful as ever in her latest photo set for SteamGirl.com, and we couldn’t be happier to have her return. After all, you asked for it! But as I’m looking at this photo, I’m noticing something that’s quite a surprise; I, Professor Falconer, have worn something that Veron is wearing! Can you guess what it is? (Hint: Not the boots)

From Kato:

After two, long years of self-funding, she’s finally ready for manufacture! Kat Sapene finished painting her this week and she’s currently in the custody of FedEx, arriving tomorrow. I’ll be taking her back to visit Dark Horse Comics next week. Cross your fingers for me!

12.5” statue. Sculpted by the legendary Pixar/Disney artist, Kent Melton.

Based on my own concept art. I’ve been working on this for those of you who’ve been requesting a collectable SteamGirl/Kato figure for the last four years. I’m SO relieved to be this close to completion.

We are, understandably, extremely excited that this project has come so far, and that figure is looking spectacular! We’ll be sure to keep you all updated on a release date, pricing, and other details as soon as possible. For now, send those good vibes Kato’s way and wish us luck!

-Prof. Falconer

Back in March, Kato had the distinct pleasure of being involved in the shooting of a music video for Professor Elemental while we were at the Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention in Tuscon, Arizona. The esteemed Professor managed to feature just about everyone at the convention (including yours truly in a crowd shot), making this video in particular a veritable who’s-who of the steampunk community. We’ll be sure to feature the video on this page when it’s released, but for now please enjoy these behind-the-scenes photos of Kato’s scene with Professor Elemental and the dastardly debonair Steampunk Boba Fett (with a minor photo edit by Kato). And in the third photo you can see a line-up of everyone who made the scene possible (from left to right): Professor Elemental, Kato, Steampunk Boba Fett, and the Professor’s insanely talented director, Moog.

lachrymologist asked: I saw that you mentioned Kato as being extremely allergic to rabbit. Does she have any other allergies? I'm sure she has fans that send her things, and this might be something important for them to know.

It’s not necessarily an allergy, but Kato does prefer her diet to be gluten-free, when possible.

Also, its extremely important to know that if you do send Kato anything along the lines of food, it MUST be factory sealed and cannot be anything homemade. It’s not that Kato hates homemade stuff, far from it, but it’s a safety issue and one that we take pretty seriously.

That said, if you want to send recipes for homemade stuff, send it over to SteamGirlMail@gmail.com. As for sending packages, here’s the address:

mymind333 asked: You have a very rare genuine beauty thank you for sharing

There’s no question that Kato is one-of-a-kind, and it’s her unique beauty, talent, powerful work ethic, imagination, and incredible heart that has taken Steampunk Couture and SteamGirl.com to great heights. And trust me, this is only the beginning!

And I guess I’m kinda cute too. That’s what people tell me, at least.

-Prof. Falconer

ehargreeves asked: Is Kato a cat fan or a dog fan?

Kato likes both, but she’s a bunny fan first and foremost. Unfortunately, she’s also extremely allergic to rabbits.

Fortunately, I’m hypoallergenic.

-Prof. Falconer

shikybits asked: Not sure if this has been asked and answered before, but is there a steamgirl set attached to the shoot Kato did with the deer antlers and the white dress?

I can’t announce anything in terms of future SteamGirl.com sets, but man those antler photos are extremely popular, aren’t they? If the demand is high enough, I bet we’d see them on SteamGirl.com anyway, regardless of the answer to your question.

-Prof. Falconer

joaquinblair asked: please sing a song like that one you sing for christmas

Kato’s tremendously busy, so I’m afraid she can’t sing anything right now. But you’re in luck, I can belt out a tune fairly well. Click the link to hear the Professor croon some sweet tunes.

-Prof. Falconer

PS- Apologies in advance

senorelmeowmeow asked: If one where to, or say accidentally clone Kato and that clone just happened to be evil, does Kato have any characteristics that would distinguish her from her clone?besides the lack of a barbed proboscis used to suck genetic material from cadavers of her victims...

Well Kato was given powers by the Galactic Welsh Council, so the clone wouldn’t have her super strength, super speed, or the ability to summon bunnies at will. has dyed her hair a lot, so I guess the clone would have her original hair color.

And no one can prove that proboscis thing.

-Prof. Falconer

fighting-thestorm asked: I dont know what to ask but i saw that you're out of asks so hi. Tell me something, please. It can be anything

Sweet potato chips have become my favorite snack.

-Prof. Falconer

darkcaym asked: Where do you find the suits(costumes) of Kato? And very attractive work, magnificent Kato

Many of the clothes you see Kato wearing are her own creation, others come from random finds on eBay, others still come from Westward Bound, Brute Force Studios, and plenty of other places.

-Prof. Falconer

fighting-thestorm asked: Happy Easter! ^.^ <3

-Prof. Falconer

spikezombie asked: Do you think Kato will ever introduce a plus sized line or is she against thicker framed people?

Oh Kato is far from against plus-sized women, in fact as far as Steampunk Couture is is concerned, Kato is working on something behind the scenes that will provide everyone a better opportunity to purchase and enjoy Kato’s creations. As for SteamGirl.com, I can’t make any official announcements, but I sincerely doubt anyone will be disappointed about what we’ve got in store for future photos.
